An Cheathrú Rua have given us a fantastic dive stores where we maintain our course/rental equipment.
We endure to keep diving accessible to all with a range of sizing from kids to XXXL in our equipment and ladies suits to allow for that comfier fit for our scuba girls.
This is also where we keep our compressor and our workshop base for practical lessons.
Our classroom facilities are kitted out to the max with spacious set-ups to cater for smaller courses to larger groups and everything in between.
With interactive whiteboards, whiteboards, flip-charts, WiFi, and PCs we ensure that your learning environment is ready to go.
The rooms are also heated by electricity generated from the solar power meaning we will keep you nice and toasty after your dive while keeping the building carbon neutral!
Once again at Atlantic Scuba Adventures we endevour to keep all our clients feel welcome and that basic necessities aren’t forgotten.
We are proud to say that our state of the art changing/toilet facilities offer men’s, women’s, gender-neutral, and wheelchair accessible areas, ensuring everyone feels welcome, comfortable and safe while visiting our centre.
Thanks to An Cheathrú Rua, once again we have access to such a fantastic range of facilities.
For our larger events and any seminars we host we also have access to larger classrooms, board rooms, and even a sports hall, we have it all!
Several solar energy projects were developed by Údarás na Gaeltachta in Connemara which heavily benefited Carraroe.
These including electric car charging facilities at our base at Carraroe Industrial Estate.
These were developed with the support of community groups in the area including Comharchumann Mhic Dara.
Solar panels were installed on two buildings in the industrial estate and the project has massively reduced the carbon footprint of the area so much so the buildings are now carbon neutral.
We are so delighted to say our facilities are green thanks to this fantastic initative offering you a sustainable diving experience in and out of the water.
The development of renewable energy is a core feature of Údarás na Gaeltachta’s 2021 – 2025 Strategy, and the ‘An Ghaeltacht Ghlas’ plan places an emphasis on the viability and sustainability of Gaeltacht communities.
