WHY LEARN TO USE ENRICHED AIR NITROX?

 

The Enriched Air Nitrox specialty program is an online training course, which teaches you to dive to 32%. When you come to the dive centre, we will teach you how to analyse Nitrox cylinders, complete the fill logs and dive on mixes up to 40%.

 

Have you ever dreamed of having longer no-decompression limits to take photos or explore a wreck? As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your no stop times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals – so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! All by breathing Nitrox instead of Air.

In the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. An important key point in the entire course is you will learn to analyse your own cylinder before every Nitrox dive.
