Snorkeling FAQ’s

Snorkeling is the act of swimming on the surface of the water while wearing a snorkel, which is a tube that lets you breathe underwater, and a mask, which allows you to see clearly underwater. That way, you can observe marine life and explore underwater landscapes without holding your breath or using scuba diving equipment.

We recommend wearing a swimsuit, sunscreen, and a rash guard for sun protection. A wetsuit can also be beneficial for warmth in cooler waters.

We are no strangers to rain in Ireland, but luckily it doesn’t affect the diving conditions, and we are going to get wet anyway! Our biggest concern is the wind direction. Generally southerly winds are not snorkelers friends in Carraroe.

If the conditions are not safe and we are forced to cancel, you will not be charged and will be gladly refunded or offered the option to reschedule (your choice). We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible if the weather prevents our dives.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the program so please see the individual course/tour for more information.
